Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Jacksonville, FL seeks a seasoned HVAC professional to lead technical sales training and dealer support. You will build and deliver NATE training for customers and staff, support branch sales opportunities, and refine warranty processes to improve service levels and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years HVAC field service experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; B.A. or A.A. in related field preferred.
• 5+ years HVAC field service experience.
• Travel (mostly driving) up to 50% locally, state, and regional as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under varying conditions.
• Ability to make business decisions using analytical and creative thinking.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop guidelines and tools to meet growing demand for technical sales and provide support.
• Create a NATE training program and implement technical training for customers and employees.
• Assist management in closing sales opportunities with larger dealers and provide training.
• Develop structure for warranty processes and unit exchanges to streamline warranties.
• Track warranty failure rates and attendance at training events.
• Assist branches in becoming leading NATE testing centers in the U.S.
• Support product mix decisions with vendor partners and customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends affecting target markets.
