Blacksmith Agency is seeking a VP of Business Development for HVAC to own the largest multi-location deals from initial meeting to signed contracts. You will close multi-location HVAC accounts with ownership and regional operators, guided by our inbound and SDR support.

This is an individual-contributor role with a national scope, focusing on large gatekeeper-driven opportunities, multi-location expansion, and strategic account growth across the HVAC sector.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing large multi-location enterprise deals.
• Experience selling into HVAC or home services groups is a plus.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large deals (discovery to close) over 3–12 months.
• Negotiate with owners, regional operators, and marketing leaders.
• Expand with more locations and services after signing a group.
• Collaborate with strategists to prepare proposals for key deals.
