Johnson Controls is seeking a driven sales professional to sell building automation offerings to contractors, designers, and consulting engineers. You will promote the Johnson Controls value proposition, build long-term customer relationships, and position renewable service agreements as the foundation of run-account relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, including 3 years of field HVAC sales.
• Two plus years selling in the buildings automation systems industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related.

Responsibilities

• Sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively to contractors, consultants and designers while reaching optimal profit levels.
• Build partnering relationships with owner construction community and drive sales.
• Seek out targets and initiate contact with multiple prospective customers in alignment with JCI strategy.
• Address customer objectives and requirements, link objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage.
• Act as customer advocate to ensure best value and ensure customer training on system operation.
