Job summary

Johnson Controls in Omaha, Nebraska seeks an experienced HVAC Account Representative to sell service offerings to building owners and senior decision-makers. You will develop long-term relationships, position renewable service agreements, and pursue service, retrofit, and expansion opportunities that support customers’ business objectives.

In this role, you will work closely with owner representatives and stakeholders, communicate the value of Johnson Controls solutions, and manage opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent sales experience in HVAC or building automation.
• Six years of progressive field sales experience.
• At least one year of successful experience selling HVAC or building automation service or projects.
• Demonstrated integrity and quality in business.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence account decision-makers at key levels.

Responsibilities

• Sell HVAC service offerings to building owners and key decision-makers at Director level.
• Promote the Johnson Controls value through technical solutions and operational expertise.
• Build and manage long-term customer relationships with target accounts.
• Develop, qualify, and close new sales opportunities through a structured process.
• Close sales monthly while pursuing account growth.
• Position renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed accounts.
