Job summary

Done! Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our residential service team in the Denver metro area. You will coach technicians, conduct weekly 1:1s, and drive performance through KPI tracking and hands-on leadership.

You’ll partner with dispatch to place the right technician on each call, coach for technical and customer-service excellence, and build a culture of accountability and growth across the department.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC.
• Hands-on field experience in the home-service industry.
• Willing to work in the field with technicians.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.
• Strong customer-service and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to understand and manage performance metrics and KPIs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold the HVAC service team accountable.
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, technician ride-alongs, and coaching sessions.
• Develop technicians in technical ability, customer service, communication, and performance.
• Track team performance, KPIs, and department goals.
• Provide technical support and help technicians work through challenging calls.
• Partner closely with dispatch to ensure we're getting the right technician to the right call.
• Identify underperformance and create clear plans for improvement.
• Help create a culture where expectations are clear and great performance is recognized.
• Keep the GM updated on department performance, budget projections, and KPIs.
• Be available to support the team when an employee is on call and an issue needs to be escalated.
