ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our residential HVAC service department, oversee technicians, and ensure top-tier heating and air conditioning service operations. This role focuses on leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

As a key leader, you will manage staffing, budgets, training, and compliance with HVAC codes while driving service quality and operational efficiency across all residential HVAC service

Qualifications

• 3 years of HVAC service management experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and HVAC code compliance.
• 6-8 years of experience in HVAC service; related training acceptable.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Leadership, communication, computer and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the HVAC service team, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching and performance management.
• Evaluate workload and schedule service work to maximize profits and stay within budget.
• Ensure HVAC service quality, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily operations of residential HVAC service calls and repairs.
• Monitor labor costs, materials and equipment to maintain profitability.
• Conduct job site inspections and ensure compliance with HVAC codes and safety standards.
• Track department operations including technician productivity, tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Provide hands-on training and development for HVAC service technicians.
• Lead regular technician meetings and monitor KPIs.
• Schedule repairs for parts and manage materials to minimize downtime.
• Review payroll records for proper compensation and compliance.
• Assist dispatching to select appropriate technicians for service types.
• Monitor preventive maintenance of vehicles and ensure proper operation.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and asset protection.
• Observe safety rules and company policies; support ethics and QA processes.
• Oversee the tech turnover process and achieve KPI targets by service type.
