Job summary

Trane Technologies in Baton Rouge is seeking a Service Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and direct resources for service agreements and repairs.

You will liaise with Field Technicians, Service Managers, and Project Managers to prioritize work, dispatch teams, and ensure timely completion; the role requires strong phone skills, organization, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills; phone proficiency.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Overtime/weekends flexibility.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources, dispatches and assigns team members to project.
• Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs.
• Interacts and communicates with Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisor to assign/dispatch technicians.
• Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and responding to special requests.
• Generates work orders, reviews project paperwork, and produces various reports.
