Job summary

Trane in Latham, NY is seeking a Service Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and direct operational resources for service agreements and repairs. You will manage labor and materials within financial standards and liaise with Field Technicians and Service Managers daily.

Key duties include scheduling, dispatching technicians, coordinating with the Parts Department, and generating reports while ensuring exceptional customer service and timely execution of projects.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
• Excellent Customer Service skills – need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
• Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
• Must be detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates service resources and dispatches team members to projects.
• Schedules personnel, materials, subcontractors, and equipment based on project needs.
• Interacts and communicates with Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisor to assign workloads.
• Coordinates operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition.
• Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and responding to special requests.
• Generates work orders, reviews project paperwork, and generates reports.
