Job summary

Trane Technologies in Baton Rouge is seeking a Service Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and direct operational resources for service agreements and repair work. You will procure labor and materials, interact with Field Technicians, and prioritize jobs with Service Managers.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. On-site work Monday-Thursday with flexible Fridays, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills and phone aptitude.
• Strong organizational ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with careful attention to accuracy.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources and dispatch team members to projects.
• Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment as needed.
• Communicate with Project Managers and HVAC Technicians to assign work.
• Interface with Parts Department and Acquisition as required.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and requests.
• Generate work orders, review paperwork, and create reports.
