Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Orlando, FL is seeking a Service Coordinator II to schedule technicians, coordinate startups, and manage customer communications.

You will handle invoicing, AR/AP tasks, warranty administration, and data entry into our ERP system, while supporting new hire onboarding.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in mechanical/electrical/plumbing service, HVAC technician experience preferred, and proficiency with Astea and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6-8+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
• Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred).
• Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty, and maintenance.
• Handle customer inquiries and route technical questions to the appropriate resource.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate startups and communicate scheduling to customers.
• Invoice and bill customers.
• Assist in local office AP/AR and follow up on payments.
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders, and shipments.
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally.
• Assist in new hire paperwork and HR onboarding on day one.
• Maintain OSHA logs.
• Enter information into ERP system (work orders, customer info, hours).
• Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and paperwork.
• Gather local prevailing wage data for PW jobs and report to HR.
• Maintain filing for office equipment.
• Provide notification of Workers' Compensation claims.
