Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Coordinator II to support HVAC turnkey and contracting projects. You will coordinate project setup, scheduling, procurement, finance, documentation, and compliance while working with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to take initiative and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish new project records.
• Upload and organize project documentation in company systems.
• Issue subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
• Coordinate permits, NOC, and startup requirements.
• Support project execution planning and readiness activities.
• Coordinate communication between project managers, customers, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Schedule progress meetings, inspections, and milestones.
• Attend and document weekly progress meetings.
• Provide regular project status updates and action-item follow-ups.
• Assist in procurement of HVAC equipment and project materials.
• Track project costs and forecasting; manage billing support.
• Maintain complete project records and closeout documentation.
