Job summary

Service Experts invites an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in directing the service center’s activities and leading cross‑functional teams across Sales, Maintenance and Installation. You will help drive profitability, staffing, and customer satisfaction through effective leadership and process improvements.

The role requires extensive HVAC industry experience, strong supervisory skills, and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations or related field.
5+ years experience in the HVAC industry including sales, installation and service.
Supervisory experience required.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate the total activities of the service center in alignment with the General Manager.
Provide leadership to service departments (Sales, Maintenance, Installation, etc.) to drive efficiency.
Assist with leading the Sales Team and with budget analysis and profitability goals.
Train and monitor Customer Service Specialists on booking rates, call volumes and service levels.
Manage dispatchers and technician scheduling to maximize call volume and capacity.
Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental processes are followed.
Support sales goal planning and tracking with the General Manager.
Provide ongoing performance feedback and counseling for employees.
