Job summary

Gemaire Distributors in New York is seeking a Sales Administrator to support the Sales team, Sales Center, and customers.

The role coordinates product availability, processes orders, tracks order status, and resolves issues, acting as a liaison between the company and its customers.

You will provide product information and after-sales support, with a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of Counter Sales, Call Center or Customer Service experience; or Associates Degree with 1+ year of Counter Sales, Call Center or Customer Service experience.
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to problem solve, be detail oriented, and multi-task
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Account Support: Act as branch point of contact for key accounts
• Order Management: Support accurate order completion, processing, and tracking. This includes e-commerce and direct customer orders.
• Delivery Coordination: Ensure timely deliveries and jobsite logistics and proactively communicate any delays when necessary.
• Documentation: Facilitate accurate job quotes, purchase order management, credit rebills and Scope of Work (SOR) documentation
• Customer Service: Provide product information, assist customers with product selection, and with after-sales support.
• Customer Communication: Provide customer service via phone, email, and text.
• In addition to the above duties, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.
