Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no major violations in last 5 years.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels.
• Configure and calibrate low ambient systems and direct digital controls.
• Interpret layout plans to ensure code-compliant setup.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across systems.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Communicate with customers to explain issues and outcomes; coordinate with service providers.
