Job summary

The role includes leading technicians, participating in on-call rotations, and driving to service calls with company vehicles. A valid EPA refrigerant certification and HVAC/R credentials are required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• HVAC/R certification program completion preferred.
• 2+ years mechanical maintenance in commercial HVAC/R settings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for commercial driving.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels.
• Configures low ambient systems and direct digital controls per specs.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across systems.
• Implements preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Leads field teams and mentors apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Drives company vehicle for service calls and on-call responses.
