Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification or 2+ years in mechanical maintenance or construction‑related field.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification required.
• Type I/II or Universal EPA refrigerant certification as applicable.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Commercial driving record restrictions per CDL rules.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems per plans and codes.
• Diagnoses mechanical/electrical/refrigerant issues across systems.
• Implements preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Mentors technicians and apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Operates company vehicle and coordinates service calls within region.
