Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to service refrigeration, heating, and air-conditioning systems in supermarkets and convenience stores. You will diagnose and repair equipment with guidance from senior technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and keep accurate service tickets and inventory for the truck.

Qualifying candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC-R training preferred, EPA 608 certification, and ability to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• EPA 608 universal certification.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis and repair of supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Complete work tickets and timesheets accurately.
• Maintain truck inventory and follow vehicle maintenance program.
• Read temperature and pressure charts and perform electrical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of refrigerant handling and charging.
