Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems for supermarkets and cold storage facilities. You will perform routine service, manage parts and invoicing, and mentor junior technicians.

Required EPA 608 Universal Certification, a High School Diploma/GED, and 7 years field experience (or 5 years with a technical school certification). A valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work nights or weekends

Qualifications

• 7 years field experience or 5 years with HVAC technical school certification.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Diagnose issues and identify sales opportunities for parts and services.
• Manage truck inventory, orders, receipts, billing, and parts waste.
• Document work thoroughly using handheld devices and invoicing tools.
• Mentor other technicians and lead PM programs.
