Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate contract functions between Mesa and clients for HVAC retrofit projects. This role also supports larger projects and backfills for senior PMs as needed.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management, 3+ years in HVAC/building controls, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task with precision. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or business management.
• 3+ years HVAC or building controls experience.
• Experience submitting proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors and other assigned personnel.
• Strong verbal and listening communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with accuracy and adjust to changing priorities.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Create and manage design submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to prepare and edit QC documents.
• Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors for timely design and installation information.
• Review subcontractor and engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate purchase of supplies, equipment and services and maintain inventory control.
• Review and approve design submittals for compliance.
