Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee contract functions between Mesa Energy Systems and clients for small HVAC retrofit projects.

The role also supports Project Managers on larger projects, ensuring schedules, submittals, and QC documents are managed efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating designers, subcontractors and vendors, managing purchases and ensuring timely, compliant design information delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or business management.
• 3+ years HVAC or building controls experience.
• Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and coordinating site contractors.
• Strong verbal and listening communication skills with professional demeanor.
• Advanced MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Create and manage design submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Work with the Quality Control manager to create, review and edit required quality control documents.
• Manage designers, subcontractors and vendors to ensure required design & installation information is provided correctly and on-time.
• Review subcontractor & engineering performance and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate purchase of necessary supplies, equipment and services from appropriate sources and maintain inventory control.
