Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Project Developer to lead front-end development by evaluating customer facility needs and developing strategic solutions. You will partner with Pre-Construction, Estimating, and Project Management to create scope and position projects for execution.

Some Midwest travel and occasional overnight stays are required. Responsibilities include evaluating mechanical, electrical, and building systems, reducing risks, and developing compelling business cases for

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in mechanical HVAC systems and building energy concepts.
Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with a clean record in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

Lead energy, infrastructure, and facility modernization opportunities from qualification through contract execution.
Evaluate mechanical, electrical, and building systems to identify risks and opportunities.
Partner with technical experts to develop solutions aligned with objectives and project requirements.
Collaborate with designers, contractors, estimators and operations to ensure practical solutions.
Develop business cases for capital projects by assessing lifecycle costs and ROI.
Support customers in identifying value beyond energy savings and sustainability goals.
