Job summary

Trane Technologies in Arden Hills, MN, seeks a Senior HVAC Development Engineer to lead front-end project development, assess facility needs, and craft strategic solutions for customer objectives.

You will partner with Pre-Construction, Estimating, Project Management, and external partners to shape scope, support contracts, and position projects for successful execution. Some Midwest travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HVAC development and front-end project opportunities.
• Ability to evaluate mechanical, electrical and building systems for improvements.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Pre-Construction, Estimating and Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy, infrastructure and facility modernization opportunities from qualification through contract execution.
• Evaluate building systems to identify risks, lifecycle opportunities and capital needs.
• Develop solutions with internal teams and external partners to ensure practical, executable outcomes.
• Coordinate with designers, estimators, and operations to optimize project phasing and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards and manage project costs and resources.
• Develop compelling business cases for capital improvements and ROI.
