Job summary

Modigent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - HVAC to help drive the execution of commercial HVAC and integrated mechanical projects. You will support the Project Manager in scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, focusing on HVAC design, installation, and performance across our nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project coordination or assistant PM roles in HVAC or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; construction/PM degrees OK.
• Valid driver's license; OSHA 10/30 encouraged; safety-minded.
• Office role with frequent job-site visits; ability to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resources.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and change orders; support risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients for procurement and installation.
• Support site visits, status reporting, and safety/compliance tracking.
• Assist in documentation: RFIs, submittals, drawings, and close-out packages.
• Support project handover, commissioning, and post-project reviews.
