Job summary

Modigent seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients for on-time, on-budget results with top safety and quality standards.

You will identify risks, track budgets, and drive profitability while building long-term relationships. This leadership role emphasizes mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and nationwide project delivery across our operating brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM/ME preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Certifications: PMP, LEED, OSHA 30-hour or related trades are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to closeout for HVAC projects.
• Review bid documents and plans to identify issues and optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations to meet milestones and budgets.
• Monitor budgets, labor productivity, variances, forecasts, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain client and vendor relationships for repeat business.
• Mentor and develop project team members and participate in hiring as needed.
