Job summary

Modigent seeks a Project Manager to lead HVAC and mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver on-time, on-budget results with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with operations leadership to identify risks and opportunities, monitor budgets, and drive profitability while mentoring teams and supporting nationwide project delivery across operating companies.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–10+ years in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction project management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent construction/maintenance experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risk management, change orders, and closeout for HVAC projects.
• Review drawings and scopes early to identify issues, risks, and value engineering opportunities; develop workable solutions.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, estimating and operations to meet milestones and financial targets.
• Track budgets, costs, labor productivity, variances, and forecasts; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate communication among clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
