Job summary

Modigent is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator I - HVAC to support Project Managers in coordinating commercial HVAC and mechanical projects. You will handle documentation, submittals, scheduling, and office-field communication to keep projects organized and compliant.

This role offers hybrid work with safety on active construction sites, and opportunities to grow in a collaborative, people-first environment within Modigent's national HVAC, plumbing, and controls divisions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in construction, project coordination, administrative support, or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Office-based role with occasional job-site visits; PPE on-site as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project documentation management (plans, specs, distribution).
• Support submittal registers and tracking of submittals from suppliers and subs.
• Maintain logs for equipment, materials, and site access/badges.
• Assist with as-builts, start-up reports, O&M manuals, warranties, and owner training docs.
