Job summary

Modigent seeks an Assistant Project Manager - HVAC to support the successful execution of commercial HVAC and integrated mechanical projects. You will assist the Project Manager in coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and quality, with emphasis on HVAC design, installation, and performance across our nationwide operating companies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, assistant project management, or field/operations roles within HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• OSHA 10/30-hour certification encouraged (company support provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects, including systems and ductwork.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Track project costs, prepare cost projections, monitor budgets, and assist in change orders and VE opportunities.
• Coordinate with field teams, engineers, installers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients for procurement and installation.
• Monitor progress with site visits; report on status, risks, safety compliance, and performance metrics.
• Participate in risk identification and mitigation for HVAC scope, equipment performance, and project delivery.
• Assist in project handover, commissioning support, testing, and post-project reviews.
