Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Project Manager to lead HVAC/mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver on-time, on-budget results with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will work with operations leadership to identify risks and opportunities, track budgets, and drive profitability while building long-term relationships across our nationwide operating companies.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction or related building services.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience with strong HVAC knowledge considered.
• PMP, LEED, OSHA 30-hour, or relevant trade certifications a plus; valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, change orders, and closeout for HVAC/mechanical projects.
• Review bid documents, drawings, and scopes early to identify issues, risks, and value engineering opportunities; develop workable solutions.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams to create realistic schedules, budgets, and project plans.
