Job summary

Modigent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - HVAC to support execution of commercial HVAC and integrated mechanical projects. You will assist the Project Manager in coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and quality, focusing on HVAC design, installation, and performance across nationwide projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HVAC project coordination, a Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management background, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or assistant project management within HVAC/construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• OSHA 10/30-hour certification encouraged; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC projects (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork, piping).
• Support development/maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Track costs, budgets, change orders, and value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and clients for procurement, submittals, and commissioning.
• Monitor progress with site visits, report risks, and ensure safety compliance.
