Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver on-time, on-budget results with exceptional safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You'll work closely with operations leadership to proactively identify risks/opportunities, track budgets, foster open communication, and drive profitability while building long-term relationships nationwide across our operating

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Certifications such as PMP, LEED, OSHA 30-hour are a plus; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to closeout for HVAC/mechanical projects.
• Review bid documents early to identify risks, opportunities, and VE possibilities.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations to set schedules and budgets.
• Track budgets, costs, labor productivity, variances, and forecasts; implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate open communication among teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors.
• Organize coordination meetings, site walks, and progress reviews with detailed documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety policies, and quality standards.
• Build long-term client relationships and mentor project team members.
