Job summary

Modigent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - HVAC to support multiple commercial HVAC and integrated mechanical projects. You will assist the Project Manager in coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and quality, focusing on HVAC design, installation, and performance.

The role offers exposure to nationwide projects, mentorship, and professional growth within a people-first culture. Your tasks include coordinating with field teams, tracking costs, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, assistant project management, or related HVAC/contracting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 10/30-hour certification encouraged (company support provided).
• Office-based with frequent site visits; ability to travel regionally as needed.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and project coordination principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and overseeing HVAC projects, including equipment and ductwork.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and assist with change orders and value engineering.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure procurement and installation.
• Track progress with site visits; report risks, issues, and safety compliance.
