Job summary

Systems Contractors LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day operations of HVAC and mechanical contracting projects. The role involves coordinating with project managers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and well-documented.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years in commercial HVAC or construction coordination, excellent organization, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Attend project kickoff meetings with the Project Manager.
• Review drawings and specifications to understand scope.
• Request, assemble, and upload submittals as required by the customer.
• Manage equipment and submittal lists to track project status.
• Maintain a whiteboard with equipment and expected ship dates.
• Inspect equipment and materials upon receipt for accuracy.
• Coordinate material deliveries to the site and provide load lists to the shop.
• Respond to customers and Project Managers in a timely and professional manner.
