Job summary

Workforce Recruiter seeks a General Manager to own the HVAC/plumbing division's operations and financial success. You will manage the full lifecycle of the division—from field technicians and dispatch to P&L, safety compliance, and growth initiatives.

The role requires leadership to motivate tradespeople, streamline field workflows, and drive profitability while expanding commercial maintenance contracts and residential memberships. A valid CA license and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of project management experience in construction.
• HVAC and general construction knowledge.
• California driver license with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willing to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends.
• Experience with job costing, scheduling, and estimating software.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: manage budget, track costs, and protect gross margin targets.
• Team leadership: recruit, train, and mentor plumbers, apprentices, and staff.
• Operational excellence: oversee dispatch, scheduling, and job workflows.
• Business growth: expand commercial maintenance contracts and memberships.
• Customer relations: act as final escalation point for inquiries and disputes.
