Job summary

Your Talent Team seeks a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division in Los Angeles. You will own the division's operational and financial performance, oversee field technicians, dispatch, safety, and growth initiatives to scale revenue.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of construction project leadership, HVAC knowledge, and a track record of improving profitability. A California driver license and strong communication are required, with flexibility for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience managing construction projects or a bachelor's degree in construction science, or an equivalent certification.
• Extensive knowledge and work experience in HVAC and general construction.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent communication and strong organizational abilities.
• Typing proficiency and skills with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, overtime and weekends.
• Familiarity with job costing, scheduling, and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: manage division budget, track costs, and set pricing to hit gross margin targets.
• Team leadership: recruit, train, and mentor plumbers, apprentices, and staff.
• Operational excellence: oversee dispatch, scheduling, and job workflows to maximize efficiency.
• Business growth: develop strategies to expand maintenance contracts and market share.
• Customer relations: serve as escalation point for inquiries and disputes, uphold reputation.
