Markent Personnel is seeking a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division in Los Angeles. You will own the division’s operational and financial success, managing the full lifecycle from field techs to P&L, safety, and growth.

The role requires motivating tradespeople, streamlining field workflows, and driving profitability. You will oversee budgeting, dispatch, scheduling, and customer relations, while developing sales strategies to expand maintenance contracts, memberships, and market

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field, or equivalent certification.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L for the division; manage budgets and pricing to hit gross margins.
• Lead and mentor licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff.
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling, and field workflows to boost efficiency.
• Develop sales strategies to grow commercial maintenance and residential plans.
• Serve as escalation point for customer inquiries and disputes.
