Job summary

Acree Plumbing, Air & Electric – Tampa is seeking a Dispatcher to support day-to-day operations by efficiently scheduling and dispatching technicians to calls. This on-site, full-time role requires critical thinking and excellent communication to liaise between customers, technicians, and service managers.

Responsibilities include scheduling, dispatching, and maintaining clear communication with technicians and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Scheduling experience in a fast-paced office is preferred.
• Experience with Service Titan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule technicians' return trips to customers to complete jobs after arrival of parts.
• Enter service calls, schedule calls, and communicate with technicians throughout the day.
• Maintain constant communication with Service Technicians via email, text, and phone.
• Dispatch all service calls to maximize scheduling efficiency while maintaining client satisfaction.
• Manage the dispatch board to keep field personnel on the move and generating revenue.
• Notify clients ahead of time if the technician will be late and re-schedule as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Warehouse to arrange parts delivery to technicians.
• Adhere to the Dispatching for Profits Priority Schedule to send the right technician to the right appointment.
• Ensure technicians arrive on time and debrief after each call.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to book calls per customer needs.
