Job summary

Acree Plumbing, Air & Electric is hiring a Home Service Dispatcher in Tampa. This full-time, on-site role schedules technicians, manages calls, and coordinates parts delivery. You will communicate with customers, technicians, and service managers to ensure efficient dispatch and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient use of MS Office; Excel and PowerPoint skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule technicians' return trips to complete jobs after parts arrive.
• Enter service calls and schedule calls; communicate with technicians throughout the day.
• Maintain ongoing communication with technicians during shifts via email, text and phone.
• Dispatch calls to maximize scheduling efficiency without harming customer satisfaction.
• Manage the dispatch board to keep field personnel productive and revenue-driven.
• Notify clients promptly if a technician will be late and reschedule as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Warehouse to arrange delivery of parts.
• Follow the Dispatching for Profits Priority Schedule to match the right tech with the right appointment.
• Ensure technicians arrive on time to their appointments.
• Debrief technicians after each call and collect payment when jobs are completed.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and coordinate with Customer Service.
• Adhere to the company Code of Ethics and Team Rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
