You will engage customers at the counter, by phone or email; upsell when appropriate; and coordinate with Outside Sales to grow accounts while ensuring accurate transactions and timely information on parts and orders.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales; plumbing/HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Sales mindset with ability to meet goals and build relationships.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Serve as a product expert by learning plumbing and HVAC products to guide decisions.
• Drive sales growth through upsell, cross-sell, and product program promotions.
• Utilize catalogs, computer systems, and manufacturer databases to locate parts and provide accurate information.
• Process transactions accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Associates to support account growth.
• Manage special orders and follow up on delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized counter environment and assist with inventory.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
