Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Operating Engineer (HVAC Technician) for the Mason, OH facility. You will maintain, repair, and operate HVAC and electrical systems to ensure reliable building performance.

Responsibilities include system maintenance, preventive maintenance, documentation, and safety/compliance. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in HVAC or refrigeration and EPA 608 certification. On-site, full-time, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent, plus minimum of four years of related trade schooling or two years of college.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC trade or related field, OR minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration trade or related field.
• EPA 608 certification.

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance & Repair: maintain and repair refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and related equipment; monitor operation and report malfunctions.
• Preventive Maintenance: perform preventive tasks on base building and critical systems; prepare task sheets and manage tools and supplies.
• Documentation & Communication: maintain logs, report repairs, track time and communicate with Operations Manager and Chief Engineer.
• Safety & Compliance: follow policy for safe storage, handling and disposal of hazardous materials; keep workspace clean and safe.
