Job summary

JLL is hiring an Operating Engineer to maintain and operate building systems at assigned properties in Cincinnati and Fairfield, OH. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation, preventive maintenance, and reliability to ensure a secure environment for clients.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, monitor system performance, and participate in safety training and emergency procedures. A strong technical background and dedicated teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical, electrical, and power generation equipment.
• Control the daily operation of all mechanical equipment in the physical plant and buildings, including refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, and pumps.
• Conduct predictive, planned, preventative, and routine maintenance, as well as equipment rounds and service requests.
• Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors to ensure proper operation of client equipment and systems.
• Accurately and expediently perform and/or complete all tenant service requests.
• Evaluate building systems to monitor and improve performance for maximum efficiency.
• Actively participate in emergency response procedures, as well as technical and safety training programs
