Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager - Service Contracts based in Birmingham, AL. You will sell maintenance service agreements to new prospects and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal delivery.

You will travel regionally, engage decision makers, and collaborate with the Sales Manager to meet monthly and yearly sales goals. A strong emphasis on networking and negotiation is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience with self-generated direct sales.
• Experience in the HVAC industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell maintenance service agreements to new customer prospects.
• Prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling and other means.
• Identify key decision makers and tailor solutions for them.
• Schedule face-to-face meetings with decision makers to build rapport.
• Prepare and present client proposals, quotes and pricing.
• Forecast sales targets and maintain a healthy sales funnel.
• Attend industry events and professional association meetings.
• Log and update weekly sales activity in the CRM.
