Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is seeking an CSR/Inside Sales Representative to handle customer inquiries, process orders, and expand HVAC product knowledge. You will support dealers and orchestrate sales activities with internal teams.

The role emphasizes effective communication across channels, interest in product terminology, and maintaining high customer satisfaction through accurate order handling.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge preferred.
• General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and DB knowledge.
• Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship management skills via walk-ins, phone, and email.
• Positive, professional attitude, handling difficult customers.
• Ability to deal with high-volume customer traffic.
• Effective verbal skills – explain technical parts clearly.
• Written skills – communicate via email and input orders clearly.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with internal and external customers and employees.
• Ability to use good judgment and strong work ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver sales by maintaining accounts via outbound calls and relaying product launches and discounts.
• Provide excellent customer service face-to-face, by phone, and via email.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payments, quotes and delivery dates with accuracy.
• Recommend alternates based on cost, availability or specs.
• Monitor shipment dates and coordinate with manufacturing, sales, distribution and vendors.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits.
• Provide in-stock availability information.
• Assist customers with warranties and returns.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to resolve issues and ensure policy adherence.
• Periodically reach out to assess customer satisfaction with products and service.
• Maintain records and prepare sales activity reports.
• Expand HVAC knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
• Collaborate with management and peers to deliver high-level service.
