Job summary

Daikin Comfort in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our branch operations. You will handle customers via counter, phone or email, identifying needs, answering questions, and delivering quick solutions to ensure a smooth sales process.

You will collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to drive coverage, maintain dealer relationships, and promote new products and training opportunities while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; HVAC certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales experience; HVAC industry experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office and knowledge of database applications.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Build branch sales by maintaining house accounts and communicating new product launches to dealers.
• Maintain sales programs within territory by informing customers about services, prices and products.
• Provide excellent customer service via walk-ins, phone calls and e-mails.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payments, quotes and delivery dates with accurate data entry.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits to improve sales.
• Coordinate shipments with manufacturing, sales, distribution and vendors.
• Travel to customer locations as needed for demonstrations or follow-ups.
• Assist in warehouse and inventory counts as required.
