Job summary

Trane Technologies plc in New Jersey is seeking a Customer Specialist to support the district's Supply team. You will process quotes and orders, respond to inquiries, and assist Account Managers and stores to deliver excellent customer service onsite.

You will work with inside and outside sales, gain product knowledge, and drive revenue while aiming for high customer satisfaction. Expect to work on site at least four days per week with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required plus minimum of 2 years inside sales, retail or related experience.
• HVAC sales or related HVAC experience is beneficial.
• Proven experience in building customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Actively engages phone and e-mail customers to identify needs and offer timely quality solutions.
• Process quotes and orders on behalf of Account Managers.
• Provide priority service to Account Managers to respond to customers timelier.
• Identify sales opportunities and maintain high quote, order, and revenue volumes.
• Provide technical support to customers and promote product offerings.
• Travel to multiple stores as needed to build relationships and support sales initiatives.
