Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Professional in Bogart, GA to identify customer needs, process orders across in-person, phone, fax, and e-commerce channels, and build long-term relationships.

The role includes light warehouse duties and occasional forklift operation to support order fulfillment. The successful candidate will have 2 years of customer service or sales experience, HVAC industry exposure preferred, and be proficient with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, preferred.
• Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.
• Meet federal and state requirements to operate the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received in person (at the sales counter) or by phone, fax, and e-commerce, including company transfers and delivery requests.
• Locate parts, equipment, and supplies for customers from various sources.
• Support long-term business relationships with customers to promote sales growth.
• Assist in warehouse duties, including pulling customer orders and stocking, occasionally operating a forklift.
• Promote new and existing products, upgrades, and services to customers.
• Assist customers with technical support and problem solving.
• Identify prospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to the sales team.
• Maintain professional showroom displays and restock shelves.
• Process warranties.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Make occasional deliveries using a site vehicle.
• Participate in after-hours on-call duties and training classes.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Collaborate with others and comply with company policies.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
