Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Macon, GA is seeking an Inside Sales Professional - Driver to identify customer needs and provide outstanding service while facilitating product access.

Duties include processing orders at the counter or by phone, locating parts, supporting sales growth, assisting in warehouse tasks (including occasional forklift use), delivering when needed, and staying engaged with customers to promote products and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, preferred.
• Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Forklift experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies.
• Meet federal and state requirements to operate the vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders in person or by phone, fax, and e-commerce.
• Locate parts and supplies for customers from various sources.
• Support long-term business relationships to promote sales growth.
• Assist in warehouse duties, including pulling orders and stocking; occasional forklift operation.
• Promote new and existing products, upgrades, and services to customers.
• Assist customers with technical support and problem solving.
• Identify prospective customers and relay to sales team.
• Maintain showroom shelves and product displays, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Process warranties and assist in inventory accuracy.
