Job summary

Ambient Enterprises’ DMG North division seeks an Inside Sales Engineer to act as a primary customer-facing contact, providing product recommendations, quotes, and order processing. You’ll blend technical HVAC knowledge with sales support, ensuring smooth inquiry-to-fulfillment experiences.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, 1–3 years in HVAC-related roles, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration to support pricing, availability, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC applications, technical sales, or sales support.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and commercial/industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-ins.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and order confirmations.
• Process sales orders accurately in the ERP system.
• Support internal sales teams with pricing, product availability, and documentation.
• Assist customers with equipment selection, parts identification, and basic technical questions.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order records.
