Job summary

Johnson Barrow, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support Outside Sales Engineers in delivering HVAC solutions. You will handle estimating, quoting, submittals, and on-site technical assistance, collaborating on system design and equipment selection.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred), HVAC equipment experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Design/Build knowledge will help in collaborating with contractors and engineers. Portland area preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design programs required.
• Understanding of construction and contracting models beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Outside Sales Engineers with pre-sale and post-sale activities.
• Prepare equipment selections and quotes based on mechanical plans and specs.
• Provide first-level technical support for equipment installations and on-site issues.
• Manage customer accounts to ensure exceptional service and support.
