Job summary

Thermal Supply Inc. is seeking a CSR/Inside Sales Representative to handle customer needs face-to-face, by phone, email or fax, and to drive sales for HVAC products and services.

You will learn the company’s policies and work with the Branch Manager to grow territory coverage and dealer relations. Responsibilities include processing orders, providing product information, and expediting shipments while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment/products is preferred.
• General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and working knowledge of database applications.
• Effective customer service/relationship management via walk-ins, phone, and email.
• Ability to handle high-volume customer traffic and explain technical information clearly.
• 1–3 years of progressive sales experience.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver sales including new business by maintaining accounts and communicating product launches, services, and discounts.
• Provide excellent customer service via face-to-face, phone, and email.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payments, quotes, and delivery dates with accuracy.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specs.
• Coordinate shipments with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits to improve sales and satisfaction.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
• Expand knowledge of HVAC products and stay current with industry trends.
