Trane Technologies in Fishers, IN is seeking an Application Engineer II (Equipment) to own the equipment portion of projects, validating selection, pricing, discounts, and submittals. You will help ensure budget objectives are met and provide technical support through installation and warranty service.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with HVAC project management/estimation experience and flexibility to work onsite with some remote options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HVAC project management or estimating.
• Equivalency: 5+ years in HVAC project management or estimating.

Responsibilities

• Optimize/validate equipment selection: size, configuration, voltage, options.
• Evaluate cost savings and potential cost problems across projects.
• Prepare submittals and coordinating, hold job cost consensus meetings.
• Provide post-order technical support for installation and startup.
